• Is playing online rummy legal?

    Rummy is a game of skills and is completely legal in India. Almost all laws in relation to gambling in force in the states of India provide that they shall not restrict games of skill.
    Under these laws, gambling relates to wagering and betting on games of chance and uncertain events where chance is a dominant factor.
    However, in certain states, such as Assam,Orissa and Telangana, the laws applicable to gambling do not provide a clear exemption to playing games of skill.

  • How do you draw and discard cards in 13 card Rummy?

    In each turn, a player draws either the top card (face-up) from the open deck or the card from the closed deck, and discards a card from his or her hand in to the open deck, or shows his/her hand by closing the card and showing the rest of the 13 cards in sets that are according to rules of the game.

  • What if I feel that I don't have good cards to complete the game?

    You can drop a particular game if you think that the dealt cards to you are not good only when your turn comes and before you draw a card. Some pools do allow the player(s) to drop the game in the middle but the penalty is usually higher than what a player would pay for dropping at the starting of the game before picking their first card.

  • What is a Joker and how does it help?

    One card from the rest of the deck (remainder after dealing the cards to the players) is randomly selected and becomes a Joker for that particular game. All cards of the exact rank in any suit similar to the joker are considered as Jokers. In addition, there will be two extra cards which contain the symbol of a Joker.

     

    A Joker is allowed to be used in place of any cards when forming a set. However, the player has to ensure that he has a sequence without a Joker card to be eligible to use the Joker as stated above. You can take a look at the best use of joker in online rummy card games.
  • What is the Joker in case the open Joker is a deck Joker?

    When deck Joker is the open joker, all 'As' are considered as jokers.
  • When do you show or win?

    You win a game when you call for a SHOW. If there are 13 cards which can be displayed in particular sets and are in accordance with the rules of the game, the player can then call for a SHOW. To SHOW, a player must have 14 cards of which he/she chooses to close one card before calling for a SHOW. After the SHOW, the player should combine the 13 cards into sets and put it before the rest of the playing group for validation. The SHOW is declared a winner if it meets the validation rules listed below:

       

    • Special case for making a show

      In case during the course of a game you have melded a pure sequence and a second sequence with or without joker and the third hand consists of two elements of a triplet or set.
      You could use the jokers in hand to complete the set with the help of maximum two jokers as a set cannot have more than 4 cards. In case you are still left with a joker in hand, then leave the joker separate while making a show instead of melding a set with 5 cards as this is not acceptable.

    • Can a player rejoin?

      Yes! A player can rejoin after he has been eliminated (reaching the maximum points limit) from a game.

    • When can a player "Rejoin" in the table?

      A player can join by buying in for a second time and agreeing to rejoin the table provided if the next highest point on the table are not greater than "174 points" in case of the 201 points game and "79 points" in case of 101 points game.

  • CAN I CHANGE MY SCREEN NAME AT 52RedRummy?

    We do not allow change to a screen name on 52RedRummy due to accounting constraints.

    HOW CAN I MAKE A WITHDRAWAL? ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

    Withdrawals can be made through the cashier in the software, accessible by clicking on the ‘Cashier’ button at the bottom right, then by clicking on the withdrawal tab. Methods through which you can make a withdrawal will be displayed on the left. On any withdrawal below Rs. 100, a transaction fee of 2% will be charged.
  • HOW MANY TIMES CAN I WITHDRAW AND HOW MUCH CAN I WITHDRAW IN A DAY?

    You can withdraw up-to 9,999/- maximum 3 times in a day. Withdrawals more than Rs.9, 999/- will be processed within 24 Hrs and may be liable to taxes as per rules stipulated by the Govt. of India. (Taxes and duties may apply).
  • MY CASH-OUT DID NOT HAPPEN INSTANTLY. WHY?

    Apart from wrong user bank details or IFSC, there may be a delay or failure if the Instant transfer mode is down for the receiver's bank. Also, there are 60 banks which support Instant transfers. For other banks, there will be a usual TAT of 30 minutes of banking hours. In case of such failure, the status update is shared within 3 working days and in the same time-frame; and the same is updated to Pacific Gaming Pvt Ltd.

    View your hand history by clicking the ‘My Account’ button at the top left corner of the software, then select either ‘Cash Table History’ or ‘Tournament History’.
  • CAN I PLAY FOR FREE?

    Yes! Select ‘Cash Tables’ in the software and scroll down to ‘Play Money’, where you can join tables and play for free.
  • I WAS DISCONNECTED DURING A TOURNAMENT. WHAT DO I DO NOW?

    If for any reason you lose your connection while playing a tournament, the action will continue, unfortunately, without you. Your blinds and antes will be posted automatically. Log back into the software as soon as possible to continue to play. If you are unable to reconnect, you will be blinded/anted out of the tournament. If the issue persists, please contact support.
  • I AM HAVING CONNECTIVITY ISSUES, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Disconnect your modem and/or restart your computer. You may want to speak with your Internet provider regarding your connectivity. If the issue persists, please contact support.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A SOFTWARE MALFUNCTION?

    In the event of a malfunction, 52RedRummy liability shall be to the amount of money wagered on the table by the player who suffered the malfunction and where the malfunction is acknowledged by 52RedRummy to have been caused by a technical error. 52RedRummy will then refund any such amount to the players account.
